~Back Fence Gossip~

~Back Fence Gossip~
march week 4, and travel week

Recent Purchases from Sephora, the hubs was a sweetheart and popped into the Memphis Mall Sephora and brought home this.

I am still doing the Dukan diet, this will make a full year and I have lost over 100pounds, it is difficult to digest just how much we as Americans have to loose to have a (in the middle) body mass index, BMI, I refuse to settle for the top, (heaviest) number in the barely exceptable healthy range, I want smack in the middle. that way when I hit menopause, I will have ten pounds to buffer me and not be diagnosed as "over weight"

I found these on pinterest and they are so cute, I know I will not find time to make them but still. CUTE!
The children in my family have a newly wedded grandpa, and his sweet wife has granddaughters so I think they will all probably spend Easter egg hunt time together which doesn't really involve me or the hubs, so I purchased some plastic Easter eggs that I am placing money in and will send them along with my sister for her kids to enjoy, nothing like a little bit of change jingling in your pocket to make you happy. Besides the usual religions part, we are not doing anything for Easter mainly due to Dukan Diet.

I really enjoy visiting my sister's kids for lunch at school, but with my compromised immune system (from a previous attack of a tumor) I have to be careful with flu season. I am aware of the time ticking away before summer is here, and the privilege to go see them will be over. They spend summer in a private pay summer school that doesn't allow casual visits for safety reasons. I am thankful for the times I do get to go see them.

Perhaps they can spend a few of their summer vacation days with me at the Mesquite Creek, possible activities, swimming of course, jumping on the trampoline, sunset walking, mid-day-heat, movie matinee (netflix), sucking on ice pops outside, laughing, because I am not use to kids being in the house and that sticky stuff is outside! Oh maybe a watermelon seed spitting time. Reading for an hour, just the activities off the top of my head.

Shopping, Look what I found at Hobby Lobby, I call this my coffee tray and I use it mainly in the morning

~Mesquite Creek Woods Monday Update~

~Mesquite Creek Woods Monday Update~
  weekend 4
The first of the week looked a little something like this

They say in Texas if you don't like the weather, stick around it will change
Pictured is clove, see any four leaf clover? The Mesquite leaves are blooming

Next we have the weather forecast this helps us plan for next year
With the weather so nice we took a day trip across the border to Oklahoma, say cheese and smile

We also spent sometime outside planting roses
Grilling outside, first grill for the year, it was someone spontaneous so we didn't have time to call and invite family over. The grilling was how we wasted time charging up the boat battery, we wanted to go for a boat ride, mainly due to the wind was only 9 miles an hour which is almost a still day in Wichita Falls, normal wind is 20mph

Lastly that day we went star walking with our iphones, the following pictures were taking with our iphone so you can imagine just how big it was in person
Weekend of Face of the day
the hubs before and after of the removal of beloved "King Tut"
We ended the weekend with a surprise flower from the Hubs, as you can see just one bloom is larger than my head!, Imagine!
Over all it was a great weekend, we also hung a new mirror over the Hubs office fireplace and made future plans for his new gun case and some re-vamping in my closet.

Happy Love to you All from the owners of the Mesquite Creek Cottage

  march week 3
I have been letting my hair grow out from the super short pixie cut of 2010, and now it is about an inch past my base neck line. I have been loving these hot beauties to curl my ends.

1. Remington travel hot rollers, for about $15, Target
2, Roller clips, at first I purchased these for the hot rollers but it didn't work as planned, they however are awesome on securing Velcro rollers

~Mesquite Creek Woods Monday Update~

  march week 3, 2012
All four lawns are super green, we are having to mow almost weekly. We removed the cover from the pool and have began per-summer maintenance and water conditioning, I hope the kids get to use it a couple of weekends this summer. My personal goal is to go swimming at least 3/wk. which makes for the best feeling when you look back on those cold winter days and remember how much you utilized being lazy at the pool. Speaking of the pool, Target has swim suits on clearance and I purchased two bikini tops, a cheetah with blue and pink back ground and a James bond 007 type black with brass fixtures. Of course at my age, (43), I only wear bikinis at home.....and 2 piece tankini for everything else swim wise.

  march week 2

normal obsession with make-up; and yes, this is how complicated I do my eye make up, I copied this from pinterest but I do not have know the original author of the diagram image, and yet I still manage to do my full face in ten minutes
Recent purchase
too faced chocolate bronze, things that smell good always open my wallet.
Current products that I have repurchased, why because for me, they work, I use the dark spot remover on my hands and in just two months  my "liver spots, age spots, freckles" what ever you want to call them have lighted by 50%, so yes I am happy about that. I was an 80's child, I baked for hours in the warm relaxing sun every hot day after school with layers of baby oil just laying on the trampoline and making vit d, while baking my skin, awe the blissful days of ignorance!

this nail growth for the first month I used twice a day, and now month 2, I use just at night, and I have seen almost miracle changes in my nail bed. Matter of fact my nails look so healthy I am having difficulty covering them up with polish, it just seems a shame to cover up such healthy looking nails with color.

My current wish list of products I would like to give a test drive.
Too Faced Candlelight powder
 2. Benefit liquid blush, and two other powder boxed blushes

3. Okay I admit it, I like to wear men cologne, I just like the clean fresh scent. I guess I just grew up that outdoorsy type of girl and girly perfumes well just smell cheap and pissy (Texas slang for urine) to me. I want to layers these together at the same time, each cost around $75/bottle

4. foundation

5 eye shadow from the new bare essentials pressed palette line
