I absolutely love animation over any modern (real actor) movie today.  The last time I went to the actual movies was in mid Dec with my family for my birthday, to see Arthur Christmas 2011. Yes, I enjoyed spending time with my family and watching the kid's faces light up with (say out loud) "Santa!"

BUT..................................................I think my modern self has out grown the old movie theater experience. We have a Nintendo Wii console, a dvd player and speakers all linked into a projector and our living room is easily turned into a large (8ft) view movie screen.  So with Netflix, Hulu and redbox rentals, I have the movies at home in my comfy clothes, personal restroom and a fully loaded kitchen all for the price of a dvd rental. I do want to see the movie the Lorax but I am absolutely fine with waiting the months it takes for it to come out in redbox or purchase dvd from walmart.

New restaurant, Wichita Falls, Welcome to El Fenix across the street at the light of 3831 Call Field Road, 100, Wichita Falls, TX, on the same side as Kohl’s. The old original building that use to sell insurance was torn down, piles of red Texas dirt was in the buildings place. The view was opened up and the corner felt decongested and updated, and clean. I wonder what will be built in its place. This is the corner before you drive past two blocks to see the new Cavenders being constructed.

This plaza was originally a snow cone shop, I remember eating snow cones there over 25 years ago and then walk the sidewalk to Finishing Touch for a new pair of earrings. Now with a new facelift the plaza is home of the El Fenix restaurant. We did need a new Tex-Mex joint, all there is on this side of town is the Mall/On the Boarder and down the street on Kell by Hobby Lobby is a small El Chico. This addition should help with wait time for a Tex-Mex meal.
