Grouping November FOTD
This is a grouping of pictures taken over the month. My favorite is the last pic of me in my stripe sweater and surprised face, wearing my hand painted oxford shoes.

At home
Backyard gossip
-current craft project, crocheting long black skirt for around the house
-cooked spicy mustard chicken for lunch
-made what I call vanilla cider, I mixed bigalow hot tea in vanilla caramel with celestial Christmas cookie sleigh ride herbal tea
-I like to drink my coffee (half caffeinated and half decaf) for best smooth flavor
-supper is slow cooker, tomatoes, ground lean beef, liquid smoke, lots of yellow onions
-new favorite lipstick is cover girl lip perfection shade 270 rush
-will never out grow my love for makeup, been this way since age 4
-found this scarf at wal-mart reminds of me of the over priced Kate spade new york scarf, haha love a bargain.
-need to blog vacation south Dakota

Dog bowl
It is known in my circle how obsessed I am about cleaning, I am sure part of it is due to the Hubs and I both being nurses. I had an extra dog dish and a light bulb moment. I like it. Master bathroom @ the Mesquite Creek Cottage, Wichita Falls, Texas

Eyebrows and Matte eyeshadow tip
I have noticed that matte eye-shadows look flattering and appealing as opposed to shimmery colors on slightly hooded eyes. I have also noticed that unless you want to spend $25.00 on a single shade, matte is difficult to find. Dark color of matte shades is best for my dark green eyes to use as a defining crease color, I use the the NYC brow grooming kit that has a matte shade on one side and grooming wax on the other. Cost is around $3 at Wal-Mart.

Hooded Eye Makeup
Found this fabulous tutorial on how to correct a hooded eyelid. Here is the link to the owner of the tutorial . Eye Shadow Makeup for Downturned Corners | Makeup Over 40
Hooded eyes are a family genetics for me, I noticed it by late 20's and now in my mid 40's my eyes look awake, youthful, and open (thanks to this tutorial) Have followed the steps on the web site and it has worked great for two months now. Hope this helps someone else. Share the credit and the love.

Weekend Uniform July 15-17, 2011 Wichita Falls, TX
Friday: madras shorts in navy blue purchased locally, LL Bean woman navy t-shirt, both 100% cotton, went out for snow crab legs, very messy meal
Saturday: jersey black knee length dress, 100% cotton, stretchy navy white belt, both from Target many years ago, was great for going to a watercolor museum exhibit
Sunday, white peasant blouse, and skirt both purchased from a trunk show both 100% cotton, great for church
Note: wore same shoes with a Dr Scholls for her high heel insert. As a hobby I am a bead person, I make beaded jewelry almost weekly and that is usually my accessories with simple earrings, such as ball stud earrings, hoops, gold starfish (j crew) ect.
