This is a grouping of pictures taken over the month. My favorite is the last pic of me in my stripe sweater and surprised face, wearing my hand painted oxford shoes.

Dog bowl

It is known in my circle how obsessed I am about cleaning, I am sure part of it is due to the Hubs and I both being nurses. I had an extra dog dish and a light bulb moment. I like it. Master bathroom @ the Mesquite Creek Cottage, Wichita Falls, Texas

Eyebrows and Matte eyeshadow tip

I have noticed that matte eye-shadows look flattering and  appealing as opposed to shimmery colors on slightly hooded eyes. I have also noticed that unless you want to spend $25.00 on a single shade, matte is difficult to find. Dark color of matte shades is best for my dark green eyes to use as a defining crease color, I use the the NYC brow grooming kit that has a matte shade on one side and grooming wax on the other. Cost is around $3 at Wal-Mart.

Man and travel

perfect bag for a man on the go

I am saving my dimes for these beauties

Starting Sept 1st, I am putting back a little bit of $, till these are mine. I can see me wearing these on romantic sunset strolls in my Mesquite woods with my handsome brawny husband. I am going to wear them with jeans, chunky sweater (oatmeal or grey color) and a crocheted scarf and hat. I can see the plaid matching the winter red stain of my lips with the orange glow of a sunset. Gorgeous!

Hooded Eye Makeup

Found this fabulous tutorial on how to correct a hooded eyelid. Here is the link to the owner of the tutorial . Eye Shadow Makeup for Downturned Corners | Makeup Over 40
Hooded eyes are a family genetics for me, I noticed it by late 20's and now in my mid 40's my eyes look awake, youthful, and open (thanks to this tutorial) Have followed the steps on the web site and it has worked great for two months now. Hope this helps someone else. Share the credit and the love.

Saturday: jersey black knee length dress, 100% cotton, stretchy navy white belt, both from Target many years ago, was great for going to a watercolor museum exhibit
